Who is Grouper?
Grouper is leading a movement that encourages healthy living through the power of community. Grouper recognizes what the CDC, U.S. Surgeon General, and decades of clinical research have well documented: staying connected and active with others is key to health and longevity.
We believe connection is health, and we are committed to bringing people together and creating more active, engaged communities.
Today, Grouper operates two primary programs:
- Hello by Grouper (association and membership-based platform)
- The Grouper Community (health plan-sponsored access)

What is Hello by Grouper?
Hello by Grouper is a national online healthy living community that offers members practical, everyday tools to support healthy habits and well-being. The platform is designed to fit easily into members’ lives and help them stay active, engaged, and inspired.
What can members find inside Hello by Grouper?
Members have access to a wide range of experiences and tools designed to support healthy living, including:
- Live and on-demand fitness and arts classes
- Brain games and engaging daily activities
- Wellness resources and healthy habit-building tools
- Educational talks and special events
- Interest-based communities centered around shared passions
Who can access Hello by Grouper?
What information will I need to share to sign up?
Basic information such as your first name, last name, date of birth, and email address.
No health plan information is required.

What is the Grouper Community?
The Grouper Community provides eligible participants with no-cost access to a welcoming online healthy living platform.
Inside, members can explore live and on-demand classes, daily wellness routines, and motivating experiences designed to strengthen both body and mind.
You may have access to the Grouper Community through your health plan’s fitness or wellness program.
How do I know if I’m eligible?
It’s easy! Simply click here to get started. We check your eligibility instantly.
- Eligible? Great! Create an account and start exploring right away.
- Not eligible? That’s OK. Check back in with us throughout the year. The number of partners we work with continues to grow.
What information will I need to share to check eligibility?
- Basic information – just your first name, last name and date of birth.
- In some cases, we might need to ask for a couple more pieces like health plan zip code and health plan member ID.
What is needed to create an account if I’m eligible?
- Just provide your preferred first name, email and a password, and you’ll be on your way to getting started!
- Your preferred first name helps us tailor your experience. Your email lets us keep your account secure and share relevant updates. We’ll never sell your data and you can opt out anytime.
